The 57th National Golf Tournament was held on July 13 to 15, 2022, hosted by the Monaca Turners. This year’s participants included 134 golfers from thirteen Turner Societies. The men’s team championship was taken home by Monoca, while Covington captured the women’s team championship.
On September 3, Dennis Zeller resigned as president for personal reasons. Dennis has been a dedicated Turner for decades. We thank him for his service over the years. Based on our bylaws, Craig Sniezek became president, a step that was confirmed at a recent National Council meeting. John Beary was chosen to become the new vice-president. Craig, an Honor Key member, has been a member of Aurora Turners for 49 years and held offices in the society, district, and national levels.
This year’s tournament, hosted by the Fort Wayne Turners, saw ten teams competing for the title. In the championship game, JB3/EPCO defeated Aurora Turners. The champions rolled through the tournament undefeated and outscored their opponents 74 to 15. Fort Wayne CFP/Sabert finished third.
